Application Tips

• Use only in a well ventilated area.
• Use on a clean, dry surface.
• Paint when the temperature is between 60°F - 80°F (16°C - 27°C).
• Recommended Primer - Plasti-Kote Anti-Rust Primer (#393 Black).
• Apply a uniform heavy coat. Wait 10 minutes before applying a second uniform coat. Again, wait 10 minutes and apply a third uniform coat. Allow 24 hours before handling. Wrinkle pattern will begin to appear within two hours depending on temperature and humidity.
• HELPFUL HINT - Increasing heat with use of hairdryer will insure proper wrinkling. If wrinkle does not appear after two hours, it may be due to:
  A) 3 spray coats were not heavy enough.
  B) Waiting time between coats was too long.
  C) Can was held too far away from the surface.
  D) Paint was applied unevenly, resulting in thin spots.
